Concerto for Trumpet (1951) by Alexander Harutyunyan, which is full of bright and joyful mood, is one of the best known works composed for wind instruments. The author used in it intonation-rhythmic images close to Armenian folk music, showing the best technical and virtuosic possibilities of the instrument. Due to its great artistic value, the Concerto For Trumpet is worldly known and has its place in the repertoire of the most brilliant soloists such as A. Sandoval, T. Dokshitser, S. Nakoriakov , Y. Balyan, H. Mesiayan and others.
